Day 5: Litomerice to Melnik

Another realtively good, short day's cycling between two beautiful towns, but also through some difficult terrain and with some nasty head winds: We are a bit unlucky with the conditions in the sense that every day has a challenge, but that is part of the the fun.

Today's run was 55 km

We fought our way through the wind and were well impressed with another old town, where the Elbe and the Vltava meet. Naturally the town was high up and we swore a few times before checking in to a room with a bath tub - nice.

After a wash, it was time to discover the extremely windy town:


It was Force 5-6 down in the valley, but 400m higher, we were having trouble standing still even before our first beer.
